NTCC welding student training at Industrial Technology Center in Mount Pleasant TX

Skilled Welders. Ready Now.

Mount Pleasant delivers a trained welding workforce through NTCC's dedicated program.

Competitive rural wage rates run well below the DFW and Houston metros, and with national projections showing 80,000 welding positions needing to be filled annually through 2029 and over 157,000 welders approaching retirement nationwide, communities without an active training pipeline will struggle to keep up. Mount Pleasant already has one running.
